In the Federal Capital Territory of Abuja, at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, the Nigerian Federal Government has started establishing the E-Gates facility.
Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, the minister of interior, made this announcement on his official X account on Monday after touring the installation work being done at the international airport in Abuja.

He declared that each of Nigeria’s five international airports will have E-gates installed.
“I visited a number of active projects today, Monday. First, the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja is now installing the E-Gates technology, he stated.
In order to improve national security, Tunji-Ojo stated that he assessed the establishment of the E-border data and control center at the Nigeria Immigration Service headquarters.

The Minister announced intentions to install E-gates in the country’s international airports by February 2024 in November of last year, as the furucinovel remembers.
