In a separate statement, NIPOST claimed that Adepoju, who had been fired in the past, had been brought back into his position by the President.

Comrade Zakari Hashim, the coalition’s Coordinator, issued a statement in Bauchi expressing worry with the continued security breach, confidence deficit, and disturbance within the premises of the NIPOST that were caused by the activities of the previous Postmaster-General.

It was suggested there would be unneeded turmoil and instability caused as a result of the situation in the government agency.

“We have noted with grave dismay that Mr. Adepoju Sunday has purportedly gathered a number of individuals to protest and disturb the running of the organization. These individuals are posing as NIPOST personnel.

It was said that “these actions not only undermine the trust that people have in NIPOST and its integrity, but they also pose a threat to the institution’s security and stability.”

The coalition made an appeal to the Nigeria Police Force, requesting that they look into the matter and take the necessary steps.
