On Tuesday (today), the Super Eagles of Nigeria will begin their preparations for the double-header friendly matches against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique.

Three players, Tyrone Ebuehi, Umar Sadiq, and Chidozie Awaziem, have already been extended late invitations to participate in the games by the head coach, Jose Peseiro.
They took over for the injured trio of Ola Aina, Taiwo Awoniyi, and Jamilu Collins when they came in as a replacement.
These exhibition matches are intended to serve as practice for the Super Eagles’ World Cup qualifying matches against Lesotho and Zimbabwe, which will take place in 2026.

On Friday, the Super Eagles will travel to Portimao to face off against the Greens of Saudi Arabia.
