Tyson Fury, the WBC heavyweight champion, has warned Anthony Joshua that if he doesn’t sign the contract by Monday, their matchup won’t take place.
As Fury waits for a response from Joshua’s solicitors, his patience is wearing thin.

Fury informed Queensberry, “We’ll know by Monday regardless [whether the super-fight is on] because if it’s not finished by Monday I’m going on.
Joshua’s camp has been given a contract, and it is thought that thus far, negotiations between the competing promoters have gone well.
But if a significant conflict is to occur by early December, time is of the essence.

“About three weeks ago, I was enthusiastic, but it shouldn’t take this long to sign a deal.
“I’m not hanging around for a fighter who has dropped three of his previous five matches. He’s fortunate because I’m giving him a shot at the world crown. If not, he’ll have a protracted wait before receiving another one,” Fury continued.
