Buni, represented by his deputy, mourned Boko Haram’s killing of several College of Agriculture Science and Technology, Gujba pupils.

He said the institution was moved to a secondary school in Damaturu, the state capital, to continue its academic operations and needs commission intervention.

He added that rebels destroyed buildings and utility vehicles at Mai Idriss Alooma Polytechnic, Gaidam.

He asked the commission’s chairman and management to investigate these institutions’ issues so they can offer additional NBTE-accredited courses.

The governor also asked the NEDC to fully implement its well-thought-out master plan to accelerate North-East development and recovery.

Maj. Gen. Paul Tarfa (Rtd), Chairman of the Commission’s Governing Board, said they were in the state to examine finished and continuing projects and hear state residents’ urgent requests.
