Youth Minister Agrees to Support Tinubu’s Agenda for Renewed Hope

President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda for Nigerian youths has the unshakable support of Dr. Jamila Ibrahim, the country’s soon-to-be Minister of Youth.

On Wednesday, after her screening at the Senate in Abuja, Ibrahim spoke with journalists and emphasized the significance of youth participation in political decision-making.

“By choosing me as the Minister of Youth, the President has heard the youth clearly and loud.

“We demanded inclusion in government and a seat at the decision-making table during the general elections.

“Through my nomination as a minister and Minister of State for Youth, along with other youthful cabinet members, the President has granted our request,” she stated.

Ibrahim pointed out that the appointment to the cabinet was only the beginning and that more young people would go on to run their respective ministries and agencies of the government.

Ibrahim emphasized the significance of performing a thorough diagnosis of juvenile difficulties in order to actively involve youth in the decision-making process.

She declared: “Young people need to be involved in the planning process if we want to prepare for the future. It’s a comprehensive strategy designed to ensure that more young people are involved in creating a thriving future.

Concerned that she might not be able to adequately guide the youth, Ibrahim responded, “Leadership is a lifestyle, not simply a function or activity.

From imagining oneself as a leader to guiding others toward a shared vision is a journey that takes years.

She also described her strategy for engaging young people on a regular basis, stressing that while she couldn’t say how frequently, these engagements will cover topics important to them.
