Mesut Ozil, a former Arsenal playmaker, praised Harry Maguire and Andre Onana for their heroics in Manchester United’s 1-0 Champions League win against Copenhagen on Tuesday.

The Red Devils put in a dismal performance against Copenhagen, but Maguire and Onana stood out.
Maguire gave Erik ten Hag’s team the lead in the 72nd minute with a terrific forceful header from Christian Eriksen’s wonderful cross.
His efforts, however, were nearly undone by Scott McTominay in the 90+5th minute of the game.

McTominay threw away a penalty in the final minutes, and all eyes were on Onana to save Man United.
The Cameroonian international made a spectacular stop to deny the visitors a point against the Premier League leaders.
In a post-game tweet via his X account, Ozil argued that both Onana and Maguire, who have been widely attacked in recent months, have silenced their detractors with great performances.
