2024 CAF Awards: Nnadozie takes on Banda and Mssoudy for Person of the Year

Chiamaka Nnadozie, goalkeeper for the Super Falcons, is one of the last finalists for the CAF Women’s Player of the Year award for 2024.

The other players nominated for the prestigious honor are Sanna Mssoudy of Morocco and Barbara Banda, a forward from Zambia. Additionally, Nnadozie has a shot at being named the league’s best goalkeeper.

The 24-year-old is trying to follow in the footsteps of her fellow countrywoman, Asisat Oshoala, who took home the trophy the previous year. With six wins, Oshoala has set a new record.

While representing Nigeria in Paris at the 2024 Olympics, Nnadozie made a strong impression.
