In an effort to solve the difficulties affecting Hajj operations in the nation, the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has partnered with the Association of Hajj and Umrah Operators of Nigeria (AHOUN).

During an interactive discussion with AHOUN executives and members as part of the consultation campaign, Malam Jalal Ahmad Arabi, Acting Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of NAHCON, made the suggestion.

According to a statement released on Thursday by Musa Ubandawaki, the Deputy Director of Information and Publications for NAHCON, Arabi reaffirmed the Commission’s dedication to offering support and assistance in order to guarantee that Nigerian pilgrims receive value for their money.

He emphasized the value of collaboration and characterized the AHUON as a trustworthy organization that will work with the Commission to guarantee that the pilgrims receive services.

“I would like to convey my sincere appreciation to the association for being a consistent and trustworthy partner of NAHCON to believe success,” he stated. Nobody involved with Pilgrimage can refute the mutually beneficial partnership between the Commission and AHUON.

“Even though we oversee and manage you, I extend our hands of friendship to you in order to achieve the best outcomes for our pilgrims.”

The chairman gave his word that the Commission will keep carrying out its duties in an honest and transparent manner.

Arabi promised, “You have a strong partner in me, and we will work together in the pilgrims’ best interests with openness, transparency, honesty, and accountability.”

The meeting, which focused on a ten-point agenda, decided to make sure that the Commission could fulfill its duty and Saudi Arabia’s deadline by ensuring prompt reconciliation, assigning Pilgrims’ slots, and remitting money to the NAHCON’s IBAN account.

Yahaya Nasidi Danbare, the president of AHUON, responded by stating that the organization is prepared to assist and work with the Commission to accomplish its goals.
