A widespread protest against the increase in fuel prices has been started in Osun by the National Union of Electricity Employees, Academic Staff Union of Universities (UNIOSUN Branch), Osun Civil Societies Coalition, Joint Action Front, and other labor unions.
The demonstrators are currently marching through Oke Fia, Alekuwodo, Olaitan overpass (Olaiya Junction), and main avenues of the Osun State capital after starting at the Nelson Mandela Freedom Park in Osogbo.
