A few months after taking power, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) charged President Bola Tinubu with crushing Nigerians’ hopes.
According to PDP, Tinubu’s hastily implemented policies have made Nigeria’s economic difficulties worse.

At a press conference in Abuja, PDP spokesman Debo Ologunagba responded to Tinubu’s nationwide broadcast by saying the president was attempting to justify his hastily conceived policies.
With his staged speech yesterday evening in feeble defense of his poorly thought-out and hastily implemented policies that have worsened economic hardship and uncertainty across the nation in the previous two months, All Progressives Congress (APC) Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu dashed the hope of Nigerians, and especially his now disillusioned supporters.
“The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) berates the recourse to such pointless, illusory, and ostentatious maladministration, which further exposed a lack of leadership creativity and focus in the management of the nation’s affairs.

The PDP is horrified by the address, which was hastily cobbled together by his handlers in an effort to deceive and manipulate Nigerians, blackmail Labor Fronts, and divert attention from the APC government’s life-discounting experiences.
“Such antics and play on Nigerians’ psychology with propaganda and empty promises are consistent with the deceptive trajectory of the APC since its emergence in 2014,” Ologunagba claimed.
